Kashmir’s Anatnag Chalo all arrangements finalised : Hurriyat | KNO

Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNO) : A crucial meeting of APHC and AAC, leaders and activists was held at AAC headquarters Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal to finalize the arrangements in connection with the Islamabad Chalo call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership for December 15 (Friday). The participants of the meeting discussed the strategy for making the December 15 Islamabad March a success so that a strong message of solidarity is given to the people of South Kashmir who are regularly inflicted with worst kind of human rights violations by the forces through killings, arrest and frequent search operations. The spokesman said that it was decided in the meeting that APHC chairman will try to leave for Islamabad at 11 am on Friday alongwith the AAC and APHC workers and activists from Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal and at 2 pm , JRL leaders will address the people in Islamabad and announce their future strategy. The meeting strongly condemned the continuous house detention of its Cahirman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani, and the lodging JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik in Central Jail along with other resistance leaders that include Farooq Ahmed Saudagar, Shabir Ahmed, Mushtaq Ajmal, Zahoor Ah Bhat, Bashir Kashmiri, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and others. The spokesman also condemned the detention of APHC senior leader Mukhtar Waza as well as Musadiq Adil, Ghulam Nabi Zaki and dozens of other APHC leaders who were arrested today from Sopore. The spokesman said that these arrest reflects frustration and acceptance of defeat by the government. The spokeaman said that despite curbs and restrictions all efforts will be made to make Islamabad Chalo a success.(KNO)
